Mission
The mission of the Chican@/Latin@ Student Development Office is to empower Chican@/Latin@ students to achieve academic excellence and engage in community involvement.
Chican@/Latin@ Student Development (CLSD) coordinates and supports all Chican@/Latin@ academic projects and programs that help with recruitment, retention, and graduation on the UC Berkeley campus.
The CLSD office is located on the 2nd floor of the César Chávez building in Room 245.

4th Raza Caucus
Monday July 28, 2008 - 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
This is the fourth caucus this summer. Caucus meets in Room 242 of the César Chávez building. Snacks are provided and everyone is welcome to join!
Parent/Familia Orientation for New Chican@/Latin@ Students
Sunday August 24, 2008 - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
The location for the parent/familia orientation has not been determined yet. Please check back toward the end of July for an update.
Welcome Reception for New Chican@/Latin@ Students
Friday August 29, 2008 - 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
The welcome reception will take place at the Lipman Room (8th floor, Barrows Hall).
