Native Americans are an integral part of the University’s educational history. The Native American Advisory Council is a testament to the continued efforts of the University to ensure that Native American students receive support from the beginning of their undergraduate college career through graduation from Berkeley. The Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Equity and Inclusion supports Undergraduate Education, the Native American Advisory Council and displays the campus commitment toward diversity and ensuring a successful educational experience for Native American students.
Faculty, professional staff and students work in partnership to achieve the Native American Advisory Council’s principal mission to enrich the campus community environment, to provide academic and cultural support, and leadership development opportunities, that will enhance the classroom, and the intellectual and social experience of our students.
